Sleep deprived

Friday night and most of the day today, I was at a women's retreat at our church. It was very nice.
The speaker was great and taught us about HOPE!

Last minute someone canceled in a friends hotel room, so I was invited to stay with them. For only $25 I couldn't say no. I stayed with some girl I don't know too well and we all clicked and it was a really nice night, except for the lack of sleep.

I guess I need my hubby more than I realize!

I don;t usually have many problems sleeping, I need to have my blanket and pillow, which I did, but I don;t know 3 am-6 am just doesn't cut it=)

I had a Caramel Machiatto from Starbucks and I am NOT a coffee drinker, but I knew I would need some energy, I think it gave me way too much=)

I also had one this morning and it just didn't work.

I will be going to bed as early as I can tonight, after I finish my math that is due tomorrow.

Our Family

Thanks to Renee from When 2 became 3 who got this from Christine at Organized Chaos

I have always wanted to do these.

Our Family

I think I may get some address labels for our Christmas cards, I think that will be so cute!!

They need a construction worker guy with work boots, and they need to make the shopping girl not so fat looking, even though I am a bit on the chubby, out of shape side right now!

Are ya all out there??

So my page rank has dropped significantly=( I am not able to get many paid post because of it.

Is it because of bloglines or the like program??
Maybe if people have me on their bloglines, then it doesn't act as a hit?
Does anyone know for sure?

Some things that help with your page rank etc, is people linking to you on their blog...so if you don't have a link to me, maybe you will consider adding me??

Or maybe I need Drea to make me a button so everyone will think my blog is exciting!!

Or maybe it is because I don't have giveaway or contests.
Maybe I should?

Or maybe I can be original and think of a different idea.
I will get back to you on that one=)

Off to do some school work.

See ya later.

Magnum Xl 200

The Magnum is one of everyone's favorite coaster at Cedar Point. It was introduced in 1989 as one of the biggest coasters round. The Magnum lifts you up 205 ft high with a vertical drop of 195 ft with a top speed of 72 mph.

And my 7 year old baby girl rode this as her first roller coaster, besides the one at the kiddie park=)

In the picture you can see Merci next to my brother Nate, Daddy behind her and I am behind my brother and My other brother's girlfriend Colleen is behind me.
What a great picture, huh??

If you any of you blogging buds ever come out this way to Cedar Point let me know and I will have to meet you there=) It is great for kids and adults!!

STINKY

You don't sleep really well when Pepe Le Peu gets run over at 3 in the morning and the smell comes right in your window. My house smells so yucky. I am getting light headed, the windows are all open and the fans on, hope it smells better soon!

Play

I got to play with my camera a little bit today! I think once I get the hang of it I will love it! I intend to find sometime to hook it up to the computer tomorrow, and maybe post some pictures.

I have been so busy the last few days, and probably the rest of the week. Maybe after this busy week I won't complain about being bored, I thin I like it a little more than being super busy=)

Tata for now!

So many

I think it is funny, all the on-line sites for dating. it seems like so many people are meeting their significant others on-line. It worked for my Aunt, who has been married almost 5 year to a man she met on-line. There are so many different sites to choose from to find the perfect person that meets your standards and interests like tattoo dating
as well as so many more.

tattoo singles
can go to www.tatoolovers.com to fins someone who appreciates tattoos just like themselves.
Ia m sure if you like amusement parks there is probably a dating service for that too.
There are many profiles to choose from, there are pictures and geographical locations right on the profile. It also tells you what the persons interests are.

What a great way to find someone who is right for you!

It was FUN

Cedar Point was great! The kids were GREAT! We stayed until 11:00! Even the rest of my family went home earlier.

There were 14 of us, so it was fun. For the 1st half of the day My 2 aunts and my mom took Ethan so we went on some roller coasters, only 2 in 4 hours, but it was fun.

I have to brag on Merci...she went on the Magnum, 205 ft high roller coaster, and the Millennium Force which is even higher! What a brave girl! I was realized how big my little girl is yesterday. I will update this post tomorrow with the picture of her on the Magnum, we had to buy the picture to remember her 1st roller coaster!

Just wanted to let you know it went well. And I will post pictures later!

Cedar Point

Off to Cedar Point we go today!

I am excited. We did decide to take Ethan, he is really excited about it.
He promised to be good...LOL, like that means anything, but we will try it.

Also just heard on the news that Geauga Lake will become just a water park next season.
They are going to take the coasters down and transfer them to different amusement parks around the US.
Crazy.
Oh well at least we still have Cedar Point and the Magnum and Millennium Force and the NEW Maverick...which I am excited to ride today.

Land

Are you looking for land to buy? Well there is a place you can go to find land for sale in any state for any use. Land Flip is the place to go to look for that perfect lot you have been looking for.
Josh and I would love to build a house someday. And I don't mean hiring a company to builds one of those house in a box things. Josh really wants to build the house. We are all about old homes, we don't want a "box" house, we need personality.
Since we don't have the money for a good down payment on a home just yet, we have talked about purchasing a piece of land and paying it off while we save.
Who nows, someday we will have a home and someday Josh will build a house, just don't know when!

Bar stools

When we get a house of our own, one thing I would like it to have is a breakfast bar. We are always in the small kitchen we have now, so if we had a bigger one I know we would still be in it all the time. I think a breakfast bar would be great for quick meals, homework, kids helping with dinner and I am sure we would us it for many more things as well. For our breakfast bar you know I am going to have to pick out the best
bar stools that can find!

Another busy weekend

This weekend is going to be another crazy weekend.

Tonight our friends Beth and Terry are coming over. We are going to have some burgers and play some Wii!!

Tomorrow we go to Cedar Point!!!
First time for my kiddo's.
Good thing we are going with my family and my mom and aunts don't ride rides, so they will watch the kids most of the day while I ride=)

Sunday Josh's grandma will be in town and so we are having a family cookout over at Josh's parent house right after church.

Sounds like I will need a down day on Monday=)

Remember to JOIN IN and post your recipes.

Scroll down to see the one I posted, it is very yummy.
I do want to post another, if I can find time!

Have a great weekend=)

Orlando

If I was older and had more money I would love to own a vacation home Orlando.

Orlando is a beautiful area and near some great fun places. Florida is a beautiful state that I have always liked. I have family down there and it would be nice to have somewhere to stay when we go visit them.

My kids are at the age where they would really enjoy all the fun of Disney World. I cannot wait to take them. Someday!

So if you or someone you know are looking to buy a vacation home, why not consider a vacation home in Orlando Florida!

North Carolina

If you happen to be looking for a house in the North Carolina you might want to check out Wilmington NC real estate. This area is a beautiful beach area. The prices of the homes look very reasonable for such a beautiful area.

Wouldn't you love to live by a gorgeous beach? I know I would. I have had enough of the city. I was beauty. I want to know there is a haven of beauty not far from my home. It would be so great to just pick up and move to somewhere like Wilmington NC. With kids and a business it is son easy though=(

A yummy one!

I just tried this recipe the other evening, and it was YUMMY!

I got it from the Kraft Food and Family magazine.

The kids weren't thrilled about the veggies, but we made them eat some of each.

Saucy Stir-Fried Pork

Prep 15 min Total 25 min

2 C minute white rice, uncooked ( you can use brown rice instead, to add a little nutrition)
1/4 C Kraft Zesty Italian dressing
1 lb. pork tenderloin cut into thing strips ( I cut is smaller for the kids sake...I also just used thin cut lean generation pork chops, not tenderloin)
1 C thing red pepper strips ( about 1 medium)
2 C fresh sugar snap peas or snow peas
3/4 C diagonally sliced green onions
2 Tbsp. Soy sauce
1 tsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp ground ginger

Cook rice as directed on package.

Meanwhile, heat dressing in skillet on med-high heat. Add meat; cook and stir 2 minutes. Add peppers and peas; cook 3 minutes, stirring frequently. Add onions;cook and stir 1 minute.

Mix soy sauce, cornstarch and ginger until well blended. Add to meat mixture in skillet; cook1 min or until sauce thickens, stirring frequently. Serve over rice.

I though it had a wonderful flavor. I think I cooked mine longer than directions said and peas were a little too limp, but YUM YUM!! We all loved it.

The kids loved the flavor of the "chicken" and gobbled it up, and my kids don't really like meat.

Off

Off to do some errands.

Need juice and milk.
Need to deposit $ and get a temporary atm card.
Need to get my car dent estimated.
Need to clean house, so I won't be around much today!

Talk to you all soon=)

What is the best deal on phones?

There is a wonderful site that compares mobile phone deals.
They compare contracts and prices of phones through different companies.

You can find the best deals on hip new phones like:

Nokia N95 deals

and also

Samsung g600 deals

Cell phone companies now a days offer some really great packages, but you do have to do your research, the plans vary so much from store to store. Just when you think you have the best deal you talk to your friend and realize your plan stinks.

I am in the market for a new phone. I can barely hear out of my phone anymore.
I only have 2 more months before my contract is up and I want to search for a no contract plan, if there is such a thing=) I want to get a great phone with an MP3 player and some how to keep track of my plans. MY husbands phone is so handy. Phones can do some really handy stuff.
If you haven't shopped for phones lately youshould check out some of the great new ones that are out!

Rock Hits Car

Rock hits MY car.

I was on the way home from picking Merci up from school, when we stop next to a bunch of kids that just got of the school bus and happen to be in a huge fight. They were junior high boys. They are just going at each other so immediately call 911. I seriously took 1 minute for them to even answer, and then the lady had to transfer me to the police department, which took probably 2 minutes. Good thing I wasn't in danger.

As the two boys are fighting they roll into the street right next to my car. This really got me shaken up, because if I was to hit these kids it would be my fault, and that just scares the daylights out of me. They break up because everyone is beeping and getting out of the car to stop them. The one boy runs to the other side of the street picks up a huge boulder and whips it, and instead of hitting the kid it hits my car.

The police told me to go to the station to report the damage to my car, it took forever to get there b/w traffic and construction. And then we had to wait for the report and then the report number all while the kids are running around the waiting room like animals.

UGGGG...so I got home at 5:30.
Good thing we stopped for ice cream before the accident, with out that treat I would have been even more on edge.

Also I found out my debit card is missing, nice huh!

If I had my camera hooked up to the computer I would show you the dent, which by the way may not even be worth claiming under our insurance=)

Hope your day was a little better than mine.

Everyone join in!!

I don't know about you, but I find it hard to come up with meal ideas for my family. I don't
mind cooking, but I don't like spending hours in the kitchen either (especially since it is so ugly and old...I dream of the day I have an oven that is not 60 years old and can tell what temperature it is).
I have gone through my favorite meals list so many times that we are loosing interest. I used to get Taste of Home magazine, which I love, but there are usually way more dessert recipes than food, so I am looking for new food magazine to get. I also used to get the Kraft Food and Family magazine, it doesn't come all that often and the meals aren't that nutritious.
I like dinner to be a balanced meal, most of the time.
Do you have any great dinner recipes, or side dishes??

In the next week I am encouraging you to share a few on your blog.
Tell your friends too. You can never have too many meal ideas.

If you don't know I read your blog, leave a comment letting me know you are taking part.
Most of you I have on blog lines and check frequently=)

I am really excited to see some great ideas.
I will post some you may enjoy too.

It is here and it works!

My camera came again today, and it WORKS=)
But they did only send 1/3 of these things Josh ordered . Hopefully the others are on their way.

So excited to use it.
Ethan was excited too and made me take tons of pictures of him playing with his new truck.
He was so cute!

I will definitely be taking the kids to the valley later to take some pictures of y cuties and enjoy the crisp Fall weather.

Check back for pictures soon.
That is if I can work through setting up the camera software on the computer, cuz Josh won't have time tonight.

Have a good Monday=)

I also will be posting a fun thing for all of my readers to take part in!!

Also if you are interested in reading about my weekend go down 2 posts or click on the weekend link. Sorry I had to do a paid post my kids grew from last winter and need new clothes, so I will be doing lots in the next few weeks=)

Busy, Busy

Had a busy weekend for once! I watched my friend Bek's 2 boys, we trade kids every other month so we can have date nights! Fun.

Sunday we went to Josh's parent's church because his little sis was getting baptized. We rush home for lunch and to give E a nap, Merci and I ran to Target to pick up a birthday gift for a party she was going to. We came home got her ready, in her ballet attire, it was a "ballet" themed party (How fun to be little again!) I ran Merci way out into the boonies about 40 minutes from here, ran back home to pick up Josh and E, so we could go to my grandma's for a family dinner made by my aunt! She is a great cook.

We had Asian Flank steak, lots of grilled veggies and some wonderfully marinated chicken for me. (I don't eat beef)I made a tortellini pasta salad, we had lots of munchies and played Apple's to Apples, while Josh went to pick up Merci from her party.

By the time we got home it was 8:30 and we all went straight to bed=)

How was your weekend?

I am really enjoying the beautiful Fall weather and Fall smell in the air!

The good

In my quiet time I was going over my notes from Sunday.

Sunday our pastor was talking about Mark10:46-52
and the faith and desperation of th blind beggar Bartimaeus. Even though Jesus knows what he wants before he asks, Jesus still asks Bartimaeus, "What do you want me to do for you?" Bartimaeus without hesitating and ignoring the rebuke of the people asks for his sight. Jesus replies "Go your way; your faith has made you well."

Our pastor told us to ponder this question:
"What is it I want if God was to ask me?"
I answered:
1.) I want my knees to be healed.
2.) I want to be healthy so I can enjoy life as a child
3.) I want to remain focused w/Him to never be distracted again.

Our pastor also told us we need to know our heart, and to know the good and not just the bad.
I made a list of the good, here is what I have so far:
caring, giving, understanding, gracious, forgiving, I desire to walk with God, I love and am wiling to learn more about loving, I am a servant, I have faith.

I am sure there are more for me...and if you know one I have left out go on and share=)

Let me leave you with this verse that goes along with the previous post about this being the week before Yom Kippur, the Days of Awe, the days of repentance and restitution.

This is a year of new beginnings ( the new year in the Jewish calender is 5768)

Hosea 10:12

Sow for yourselves righteousness,
reap steadfast love
break up your fallow ground
for it is the time to seek the Lord!

Have a great Friday!

Something you might want to do

I am not Jewish, but am very intrigued by their celebrations. There is so much meaning in the things they do. I really like the tradition in their celebrations and have celebrate one of them and was really touched by it. Here is an e-mail we got from our church yesterday:

Tonight, Wednesday September 12th at sundown the Westside Jewish Congregation is using our facility to celebrate Rosh Hashanah. There will be a time of Blowing the Shofar to commence this celebration.
This is called Yom T'ruah- The Feast of Trumpets. Through the sound of the shofar He calls us back to Himself, back to simplicity of devotion to Messiah, back to a life fashioned by His wise hands.
This Blowing the Shofar begins the season and ten days later is Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. These ten days are known as the "Days of Awe," where we are expected to examine ourselves, seek repentance, and make restitution.
Be encouraged, as the Shofar blows tonight and you begin your own Days of Awe, God is going to meet you at your point of need.
Don't get caught in any trap of the enemy who would accuse you and try to disqualify you. Make sure you connect with a partner, chose your area of fast, pray and then believe for God to breakthrough in your life and your families life.
These ten days could be the best ever! Enjoy them! Rest in them! Allow God to minister to your heart. Let your faith be stirred! God is ready to perform His Word in your life! Remember to pray in the area of Repentance, Restoration of Relationships, Rain of the Holy Spirit and Releasing the Harvest. Also, believe for the breakthrough you are praying for. It is a time of New Beginnings!
Our God is an Awesome God. May you be filled with Awe as you seek Him during these next days.

I am sure we all need to repent and make restitution! Why not join with out Jewish brothers and sisters in drawing near to God this next week.

If you aren't religious, no big deal!

Talk to you all soon=)

Just in case you were wondering...

Cortisone cream and toothpaste mixed up makes a great glue to hold the wall stickers that don't stick anymore because he plays with them too much, to the walls.

Yeah..really wishing I had a working camera...the BRAND NEW non-working one sitting in the box on my table does no good.

E was supposed to be taking a nap, he was really quiet, and since I have a light sleeper I am not in the habit of checking on him once I come downstairs, which is usually not a problem.

Today it was.

No nap, I guess an early bed time will be in the plans tonight!

Camera Stabilizer Not Available

Yeah, I haven't even got a chance to use my camera and it is broke already!

I had to charge the battery before I could use it and then when the battery was ready, uh error message, nice huh.

I called support and they said I need to take it to a repair place...No way I want a new camera that works.

Maybe I am not sure I want this camera anymore.

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Rochelle is my middle name!

UPDATE:
*** My camera is here, my camera is here!!****
You better bet there will be LOTS of pictures to make up for the lack the past few months=)

Also I forgot to tag 6 people so....
Wendy, Gina, Margo, Crystal, Drea, Renee!!
And anyone else who want to do this! And if you don't want to I don't mind!

I have been tagged for a Meme by Andrea.

Post these rules before you give the facts. You must list one fact that is somehow relevant to your life for each letter of your middle name. (If you don't have a middle name, use the middle name you would have liked to have had.) When you are tagged you need to write your own blog-post and then choose one person for each letter of your middle name to tag. Don't' forget to leave them a comment telling them they're tagged, and to read your blog.

R- Rowdy...I am not!
O- Oldest, of 4 and only girl.
C- College. I am back in college, part-time, on-line.
H- Hairy. I am part Italian and I got the worst trait, my brother got the dark skin, I got the hair...LOL. At least the hair on my arms has lightened, extremely!
E- Eating is great! I love to eat...who doesn't?
L- Loving. Trying to learn 1 Corinthians 13 LOVE!
L- Little, Only 4 ft 11 inches!
E- Erratic, another word for fickle. Which means I have a hard time making up my mind!

BEWARE Unknown Caller 102

Scary.

I just got a call from some Asian person telling me I was a chosen citizen to receive a $5,000 grant.

I was curious and if someone offered you that much money wouldn't you be too?

I know to ask for something in writing, which I did, but the guy kept repeating the same thing over and over about how this money was coming from the US government.
He knew my address, I gave him my name (ugh) and I gave him my DOB ( ugh again)
then he asked for my bank information. NO.

I hung up because I was scared. He called back.
And asked kind of mean "What happened Donna?"

I told him the kids were being too loud.

He said I could tell he was calling from the government because there would be 3 numbers on the caller id.

The caller ID said
Unknown Caller 102.

I still wasn't giving him any info.
He said to give him an account number to an account with no money or a negative balance..because we all have bank account with no money, right??

He said on Saturday I would have the money in my account, because it takes 24-36 hours. Well It's Monday, so 24-36 hours would be way before Saturday.

So I said Sorry sir I am not giving you any more information.
Ans he hung up on me.

What the heck.

So Beware.

If you hear anymore about this let me know.
I looked it up and all the sites lead back to a patent website??

Should I call someone and report this?? Who??
What do I do??

33x.41=13.53

$13.53 in postage stamps plastered all over E's truck when I came up from doing laundry.

Look on his faced when I yelled, "Oh No": priceless

(camera hurry up and get here).

Gotta Love Em!

Guess what I just bought??

A NEW CAMERA!!

Josh will be out of town soon and I will be going to some fun places with the kids, so we were talking about our camera situation. Josh originally said I could use the camera when he is gone. Last night, I was slick...I said "Honey you can just take the camera when you go backpacking, and I can just go buy a new one." He looked at me blankly and then said I could. YEAH!! I have been without a camera since Father's Day weekend when mine died. (It is $150 to fix, so forget it.)

So here is the story...I really wanted a really nice camera to learn to take some awesome pictures, something like a Canon S3. But I am at the stage of not having to carry a diaper bag around and most of the time not even a stroller. So I was thinking I would like something thin like Josh has to slip in my back pocket for a day at the park, ya know?

I was wishing I could find a little point and shoot with a better zoom....I FOUND ONE. It is brand new and I am so excited...I just hope I like it.

I ordered it online today, check it out.

http://www.casio.com/resource/images/xlarge/ex-v7sr_xlarge.jpg

I got it for a really good price, so I just grabbed it, and will explain to Josh why I got a different one than we talked about when he gets home from work!

It is a Casio, with a 7x zoom (most point and shoots are only 3x) and it is 7.2 MP. It has some great features and I can't wait to get it!

One of my favorite...

One of my favorite places to shop is a hobby shop. Hobby shops usually have really good prices and LOTS of fun stuff. Stickers, markers, cool pens, embellishments, ribbons, paints...you name it they have it!

I recently went to a huge hobby shop around here that I had never been to before. Ethan had as much fun browsing as I did=)

I bought a whole bunch of scrap booking stickers for really cheap prices. I haven't been keeping up with my scrap booking, but when I start to again I will be all stocked up!

One thing that I really should have bought was a iron wall decoration. They were 40% the entire stock. Don't ask me why I didn't=(

Discounts on Furniature

I am always talking about looking at furniture. I just love to scope out what I want my future house to look like. I haven't had the opportunity to shop for any new furniture since we have been married, so you better bet I am going to get exactly what I want at the price I want!

I will defiantly be shopping at discount furniture stores, if you have ever been to my blog before you know how I like good deals=)

I need to prepare my husband so that when the time come to actually pick out what we want we won't be fighting in the stores. We both have different ideas of how our house should look, so if we can prepare ahead of time, that would be best! I can't wait!

Do you need blinds?

You all remember my post about the free wood blinds I got. Well you really should check them out. They always have some kind of special going on. They have many, many kinds to choose from, even the great bamboo ones that are trendy. The bamboo blinds in Petra is what I want to get for my bedroom and a lighter shade in my kitchen. They are a very reasonable price too. You will never go back to the cheap $4 from Walmart once you get a custom sized blind that fits perfectly in your window! And your husband will thank you that there was no hassle in putting them up=)

That is probably why am not better, I haven't had time to rest=(

Be back soon!

***Holy COW***

Incredible! Mind blowing!

A running joke

I have a very weak badder and have to urinate very frequently. I always joke that I will need some protective underwear when we travel.

When we went on vacation this year I purposely didn't drink anything when we woke up, I hadn't drank anything in 5 hours and I still couldn't hold it. Ethan did better than me and he wasn't even fully potty trained. Oh well. I do hope that when I am older it doesn't get worse or I will be wearing protective underwear!

Babblings and Bees

I'm Alive, I'm Alive, I'm Alive, I'm Alive.
God has given more than I could ever have wanted.

The above were things that stuck out to me in Sunday worship.
I had a rough day Saturday. Josh was gone long when he was supposed to have a shorter day. I was glued in front of this computer for HOURS trying to do my whole week of math in one day. The kids weren't bad, I just couldn't do 5 things at once, ya know. So I was stressed today the least.

When Sunday morning came around those songs were exactly what I needed. On days like Saturday the horrible thought come creeping into my head "I wish I didn't have kids" "I just want to be able to do my own thing when I want to" etc etc. I love my kids dearly and would have it no other way. But the enemy attacks in our weakness.

I am Alive, and there will be hard days but I will get through them and God's mercies will be new the next morning. Although the kid season is rough at times I need to sit back and enjoy it. I do see more appreciation of my kids daily. God gave me these things because he knew what I needed, and I needed them!

So I am refreshed, and now the allergies are hitting=(

And talking about allergies, Thank God my son is NOT allergic to bee stings.

The poor kid got attacked by bees yesterday=(
We were at a picnic and we all heard his screams, he came running to me and I see 20-30 bees all over his clothes, I start screaming and freaking out ripping his clothes off him, as he is screaming also. I run with him inside where a wonderful nurse friend is already preparing a baking soda mix. We get him calmed down enough to get the paste on his 3 bites on his arm. And we give him some Benadryl.
He was fine after the overall shock. And ended up with only 3 stings on his arm. And the medicine didn't even knock him out.
He is fine today, he has a rash on his back, but it might just be a heat rash.

Well I am off to put the little stinker to nap!

Hope you all had a fun weekend. We did.

Saturday, the day nobody blogs!

I am here again on a Saturday an most of you are NOT. My husband works 6 days a week.

I came here to tell about my first big school mistake.
I DID THE WRONG LESSONS ALL WEEK.
The good thing: I won't have much work to do next week unless I want to get more ahead.
The bad thing: I have been doing math ALL DAY.

It isn't hard by any means, but we have this online software thing we have to follow and we have to go through all the steps, so it is just a lot of time. Basically I can't just take the test and be done. I have to go through the pre-test, overview, on-line homework, off-line homework and then the quiz.

So anyway, better go back to my math.

What would I do without a laptop?? I would have to make the kids sit int he basement with me all day...and it isn't a kid friendly area! Thanks to my friend Shae who gave me heres whne she moved to live in India for a year or so. I MISS YOU MY SHAE!
