Tower City

Just got back from taking the kids to Tower City to see the Toy Soldier and all the other excitement down there. This will be a quick post because it is freezing down here in our basement!

Merci learned how to curtsey a few years ago
with the soldier and she was very excited to show off her
practiced curtsey.

My brother Josh handing Ethan over to the soldier.
Ethan is NOT too excited about it.
But his face is so cute=)

Mommy help me!

Merry Christmas!
Happy New Year!

What a neat thing! We have something here called christmas storybook land, it's free, they do ask for donations for F.I.S.H. and there are toy trains, lots of them, and many scenes of disney movies created with the help of various people making or donating items, giant dollhouses, and santa at the end. Also, I just found out that there is a train, Tennessee Thunder, offering train rides to families, about 30 min. away, and they have a waterfall, christmas lights scenes, thomas the train stuff. I plan to take the boy atleast. P.S. thankyou for your encouraging comments. I need them!

I bet you it's the face paint. Face paint used to give me nightmares as a kid.

I must admit that the toy soldier frightens me a bit too. These pictures are great! I wanted to take Petey to see Santa at Petsmart but Terry looked at me like I was crazy when I mentioned it! haha Well Petey is my baby for now and I definately treat him like one.
Also, I saw a little boy at the mall yesterday that was about the same age as Ethan and he had cute little glasses too! I smiled when I saw him and thought of Ethan in his adorable little man glasses. :)
