Help PLEASE!

Well sadly my family doesn't think that my grandfather will make it until Christmas. And sadly I don't even know my grandfather. Yes I have met him numerous times. The last time I saw him was on Christmas Eve 2 years ago in the hospital. He has been sick since then. He has been an alcoholic all his life. My father used to take us to see him at the bar when we were kids because that is basically where he lived. I have always felt this love towards him, though I don't know him, and haven't heard the best stories about him.

So this is where I need your help. How do I go see him and tell him about Jesus?? There may not be many more chances for me to do this. I am scared, but I know I am the only one who can deliver this message to him. Help I need scripture I need truth to tell him and I am at a loss. Call me, HELP me. I know God gives grace to those even seeking him with their last breath. Just like Kenny was teaching about awhile back. He may not have the biggest crown. But I just need to help him.

Thanks guys! Please pray for him (Jack Harper) and my family.

sidenote:
If this happens before Christmas my dad is going to have a really hard time ( my daddy isn't saved either). My father lost his mom to cancer at the age of like 15 or 16. That is why I have her name. He still has never visited her grave it is so hard for him to this day. He always had nightmares when my parents were first married at the age of 18. So I am very concerned for my father.

Donna, I have heard it said that even when a person is in a coma, they can hear if you witness to them. Only the Holy Spirit can really tell you what to say to your grandfather, but if you are led by Him, then what you say will be the right thing. Ask Him to lead you, to give you the opening to speak, and to give you the words to say. You are in my prayers, and so is your Dad and your grandfather.

HI Donna
Just happened to pop over from Angela's site...I know you don't know me but I would just like to encourage you to follow your heart...no more..no less. You are not responsible for this man's salvation, God is and He loves your grandfather more than you ever could. His Holy Spirit is quite capable of drawing this man and winning him. You just do whatever is in your heart to do. I will lift you and your family to the Lord. God Bless!

Ohhhhhhh... hang in there, sweetie! My advice is to look to Bek and Ang for encouragement to go visit him. They will be able to give you the confidence to help him.
I think that once you get there, you will find that you are strong and will be able to do what you need to do.
What bad timing for your day - just before the holidays - I'm Praying for you all!!

hey donna - andy had a similar experience with his grandpa - u should ask him about it. anyway, his hard, tough grandpa DID come to know the Lord on his deathbed - sometimes that is when people are ready. my thoughts are just to pray beforehand, asking God for an opening to speak and to give you even just a simple phrase or two. even call us before you are going to the hospital if you want some prayer back up. love u donna....you have such a big heart!

Donna...just read this...everyone already said what I was going to say...listen, listen, listen to the Holy Spirit. I know that you have a strong prophetic gift in you and here is a time where you can really utilize it. Also, know that God is a creative God...witnessing to people is not what we think it is at times. It could be as simple as sharing a personal story about the Lord's mercy or faithfulness and asking the other person what they think...I will pray for clear hearing and creative thoughts...love you and praying for your family!
