I'm doing it!

All summer I tried to workout. All of July and August I didn't work out at all (BIG WASTE OF $).
When Merci started school I had NO excuse, because I workout (or try to work out) at the YMCA. Which is literally in the same parking lot as her school. So I have been pretty good. I usually do 2 times a week. So during the summer I was 124. Then when Merci went back to school I was 126. 2 weeks ago I was 124 again. YEAH. And than today....Let me tell you something, I have these pair of jeans and this weekend I noticed I had to keep pulling them up, I thought maybe I hadn't washed them in awhile and they were just stretching out. And then I notices my inner thighs don't rub together as much as they used to. And then I thought I was just imagining...Wanting all of this to happen. But today when I weighed myself I was 120!! I am doing it. I am so happy.

**I don't want to be a "skinny mini" who thinks she is fat. But I do have some areas that need toned up. After I had Merci the pounds melted off ( I was only 19 and 98 lbs then) this time with Ethan.... Well let me say ouch!
**** I just looked it up I was around 125 lbs when I was 26 weeks pregnant with Merci and only 21 weeks with Ethan. WOW. That is horrible.

But I am doing it! 6 lbs lost!! Without too much effort. Yeah me!

Donna that is soo exciting. Isn't it wonderful when something you struggle to put effort into actually pays off. Keep up the good work, darling!

I think I'm going to post about this soon, but my results from my intense work out for 2 weeks followed by 3 weeks of not working out are...interesting.

Oh man, I forgot to say: AWESOME! A lot of times it is very hard to stay fit and to find the time/willpower to get to a gym. So, when somebody succeeds I feel so happy for them. Let your success be a motivation and don't let up!

I hope you receive only positive feedback - unlike me.

Congrats on your success!! I know you will continue seeing great results, Donna. You have the good quality of determination.

That is awesome Donna!!! Go Girl Go!

I have been working outtoo - and watching 'The Biggest Loser' for motivation - lol

...it just isn't as easy as it use to be for me....I have lost 15lbs over the summer, but have xxxx to go :( Depressing actually, I am the heaviest I have ever been in my life :(

But I am determined to conquer - even if I am fighting old age, a slower metabolism and certain DNA that runs in my family! Arrrrggggghhhh....

But your success is encouraging for me to keep at it! That really is awesome~

Donna that is AWESOME! Keep up the good work! It is sooooo hard to get motivated to go to the gym but once you're there it's not so bad, then you see sweet results a million times better! Keep it up you can do it!

Great work girl! Got any tips for me? I swear my inner thighs rub together so much that I feel a spark from time time from the friction LOL. Good job!

LOL Crystal, you are too funny!

Body-for-Life works for me (or variations of it anyway)

There is a BFL bandwagon forming if you didn't know... B&A are going to be jumping on soon!

Body for Life seems a little to much for me, but maybe I just don't know enough about it. Maybe you could give me the basics?? Crystal Beth has the book and has done this before....but I get the book first so I can read more about it!

Aut, you said hopefully I don't get mean comments. Did you get mean comments?? About what?? Did I do it??

I had someone ask me if I was starving myself. ME, who LOVES food so much! After all my disciplined efforts to eat right and exercise, I found a comment like that to be insulting. I have also had comments like "you need to be careful that you don't get too thin" and "have you lost MORE weight?" (as if that would be a bad thing) Those kinds of comments are discouraging to me.

Body-for-Life can sound complicated when you first read it, but once you understand it, it's easy as pie!

Those are discouraging? I was getting comments about ordering 4 fish patties again and a few others about how I was already failing after the first day!

A truly mean comment would go something like this:

Hey! Fatty McFatFat! I CANNOT believe you are trying to work out...like that will ever work, lol. All of these diets are fads anyway, they never ever ever ever work. You don't looke THAT big, anyway. I saw a kid point and laugh once, but he's just a kid (I never laugh to your face, lol).

Now that would be mean.

Crystal said...

Wow, that is mean! But I can see Autumn's point of view. She needs only supportive comments. Like "you go girl" or "dude, you look so hott!" LOL.

Good for you!! At first I couldn't figure out what the numbers were (I guess cuz I couldn't imagine weighing that little!). Keep up the good work! :)
