That is too funny - I agree, she does look like a 'borg' or maybe some sort of weird dental equipment stuck to her face...too cute.
Thanks for your comments on my blog re: Brando...we did call the teacher...And no surprise here...the teacher didn't think that Brando was one of the ones acting up (and told us that he aplogized today to Brando and a few others) BUT, (yes, the big B U T....) He said Brando (and those few others) still had to serve detention with the class!
Why? - Well, he wants them to start being more of a 'team' - and help those others realize that their behavior effects everyone....
Next, time, he would like a few of the good kids to tell the ones mis-behaving to stop acting that way before they all get it. (Good idea?? Time will tell)
To be fair, the teacher is not putting this 'class' detention on the records - so Brando will still have a clean record - which actually means something to Brando at this point in his life (I pray it always stays that way!!!!!!!!!)
Re: Your adorable Merci - I am sorry that 'What's her face' is so tough on them - it is KINGERGARTEN after all, doesn't she realize, life gets hard enough as it is the older you get???
I think the school in general does expect a lot, (maybe too much at times) but that may be a good thing in the long run!! And tell that Merci how proud you are of her - even when she gets those 'stupid' 'x's'.
Try to hang in there - it is a great school and any one of the teachers she gets next year ROCK!

Too cute! That's my little neice! She can make a can opener tangeled up in her hair look cute. Hey do you have one of that Donna??!
