102 nasty days

A lot of you know we are worried about Merci, wondering if ADHD/ADD could be a culprit.

Before I decide to take her to get tested etc, etc. I did a little research and had actually heard this doctor on the radio awhile back talking about how just altering the food we eat and supplements we take could drastically reduce symptoms of ADHD/ADD. So last week I ordered his book. It came today!! I haven't put it down. I am so excited to learn about this disease and how we can eliminate it!!

Anyway listen to this!

The half-life of trans fatty acids or hydrogenated fats is 15 days. That is, after 51 days, one-half of the negative effects of this man-made fat have been processed, but the body needs an additional 51 days to complete the process. After these 51 days, there is still a 25% residual. Therefore, the ill effects of one bag of fries lasts 102 days! Can you believe it?

When you reward your child or grandchild with a bag of french fries, it takes over 3 month (102 days) for it to be properly processed through the body. During that time period, the body does not have adequate fat production, which jeopardizes nerve transmission. Improper nerve function is one of the primary reasons that we have hyperactivity in our society.
Adding to the diet essential fats like flax oil with proper minerals and B vitamins can result in a dramatic reduction of hyperactivity.

Taken from Dr Bob's Guide to Stop ADHD in 18 days. Dr Bob is a drug less doctor.

I just might think twice about ever eating fries again!

This book is very interesting, it isn't just about ADHD, he is very educating in why what he says works and why these types of foods interact wrongly with our bodies! it is even more interesting to me because he is talking all about body function which I am studying in Biology right now!!

That is very interesting.

Dr. Don Colbert has written some interesting things on the subject as well.
