Maybe, I am back

It has been such a long, long time blog. I miss you. I have begun to make a blog book and it really made me miss the outlet. I was so wonderful to see where I was so many years ago, as a mom, as a wife, and a follower of Jesus. I think I have taken a few steps back in many areas of my life, and many steps forward as well. Today I am 32. Holy Moly. Today I was deep in thought as I shopped, I took a vacation day and I did what I wanted to do today=) I got my free birthday coffee at Caribou, I got some new underwear at Target (exciting, I know!), I went to World Market and used my $10 off $10 coupon and got a few things, and envied A LOT of things and also went to Kohls to use a store credit I had and a few other errands added in.

So anyway...Deep in thought. I prayed for new dreams in my heart, and I was specific that they be attainable! While I was envying everything at World Market, I felt like God highlighted the song Girl on Fire by Alicia Keys. To be a girl on fire, with flames in my eyes...as soon as I got in the car, that song came on! Crazy little things!

So as I walk along, with a lonely feeling in my heart as I work towards my dreams and being a better me, I will keep the flame alive.
